Moondrop has designed the Droplet with a customized full-frequency nozzle-less balanced armature driver configuration, which can greatly reduce external noise and obtain an immersive audio-visual experience.
Through the built-in DSP of audio SOC in USB-C interface, the sound characteristics of this customized nozzle-less balanced armature of The Droplet are precisely tuned, bringing the smooth and gorgeous signature, as well as sufficient bass quantities. The chip is integrated with decoding and amplification circuits, which simplifies the portable HIFI system.
The Moondrop VDSF Target Response is a parametric target response that delivers outstanding sound with an open soundstage and detailed sound characteristics. The latest Droplet has been tuned following the same target response, the pair packs a wonderful sound experience for its users in a super compact form factor.
The Droplet adopts a universal USB-C interface, users can easily connect with smartphones, tablets, and laptops to meet different needs. The cable of the Droplet is equipped line control with a high-quality MEMS microphone, the different requirements can be achieved, including calling, meeting, and gaming!
The shape of the Droplet is inspired by a novel called 《The Three-Body Problem》. 《The Three-Body Problem》 tells about the information exchange, life-and-death struggle between human and Three-Body civilizations on earth, and the rise and fall of the two civilizations in the universe. 《The Three-Body Problem》 have been recognized and loved by the majority of science fiction fans. It became the first Asian novel ever to win a Hugo Award for Best Novel and was nominated for the Nebula Award for Best Novel. Moondrop Droplet has got rich ear shells designed using a high-quality CNC machining process. They are made up of solid brass material carved from Brass using a high-precision CNC machining process and later finished with chrome plating with a smooth and shiny surface. Don’t get fooled by the compact size of the Droplet’s ear shells, they are robust and highly durable.
